Two runaways, a bride and a hospital patient, meet on a beach in order to come to terms with their grief.

Director Statement

I wanted to explore the idea of trauma bonding and grief in this film. Since grief expresses itself in so many different ways, I thought it would be interesting to experiment with two people in the same stage of grief (denial) but isolated in completely different situations. Lloyd doesn't want to accept the reality that his significant other has died tragically. Tina on the other hand is coming to terms with her homosexual nature and is realizing she can't keep pretending to be what she isn't. She's mourning her old life. I hope I have created a theme of healing through community and the help of others.
